How does a safety push-button coupling work? Plug the nipples into the coupling. When decoupling, press the decoupling button. Clutch closes and vents the plug while it is still being held in the clutch. This will prevent the dangerous "whip-blow effect" safely. Plug is only released when the residual pressure on the plug side drops below approx. 0.5bar.
