Grease nipples and accessories

Grease nipples are necessary for the maintenance and upkeep of moving parts in machines and technical equipment.

They are relatively small components with a conical or cylindrical thread, as well as pins for insertion. Grease fittings allow for controlled lubrication of bearings, hinges, axles, drive shafts, and more. Without sufficient lubrication, moving parts quickly wear down and lead to total system failure. Grease nipples come in a wide variety of threads, with differences in head shapes. The most commonly used is the cone grease fitting according to DIN 71412, the successor to the once commonly used ball grease fitting according to DIN 3402. In addition, there is the funnel grease nipples according to DIN 3405 and the flat grease fitting according to DIN 3404 in head sizes of 10mm, 16mm, and 22mm. All types are manufactured in straight (A), as well as angled 45° (B) and 90° (C) versions. Grease fittings are made from materials such as zinc-plated steel, brass, and stainless steel AISI304 and AISI316.
